Cashew nuts 5 to 6
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Ghee 3 to 4 tbsp
Ginger A small piece cut finely
Salt To taste
Curry leaves Few

Method:

  1. Take a micro-safe bowl and add the green gram dal.
  2. Add 2 cups of water into this bowl and make sure it cooks well in the microwave [high]  for 15 minutes.
  3. Don’t forget to keep stirring every three minutes.
  4. You can also spread a little ghee on it so as to prevent spilling.
  5. It is now time to add the roasted Rava to it and the remaining amount of water.
  6. Once you add the ingredients, please micro high this mixture for another three to four minutes, stirring once in between.
  7. Now, add the crushed pepper, curry leaves, salt, roasted cashews, ghee, cumin seeds, and ginger to it.
  8. Once, you mix it well with a stirrer, micro high for another minute.
  9.  If the Pongal is still watery, you must micro high again for a minute or two.
  10. Allow a standing time of 2 to 3 minutes. The dish is ready to be served now.
  11. You can serve this dish hot with chutney or sambar to heighten the taste and flavour.

Method:

  1. Take a microwave safe bowl and add 1 cup of Rava/Sooji.
  2. In the same bowl, it is time to add 1 Cup Curd/Yogurt.
  3. Mix them both well to avoid forming lumps. Add a little water to make a thick paste-like batter.
  4. Let the mixture rest for 20 mins.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the batter.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon ENO powder/baking soda to the mixture.
  7. Take a microwave idli mould and grease it with some oil.
  8. Add Idli mixture to each mould. Make sure you do not overfill.
  9. Put 1/2 cup of water in a microwave bowl which comes with an idli stand(microwave safe) 
  10. Keep the idli stand into it and cover it with a lid.
  11. Microwave it for 4-4.5 mins at high power(900 Watts).

  1. Take a microwave safe bowl and mix the besan, ginger paste, chilli paste, salt, turmeric, sugar and oil.
  2.  Along with these ingredients, beat in the curds as well.
  3. Now, it is time to beat all the ingredients  till it becomes smooth.
  4. Add the water and mix well again.
  5. Add the fruit salt, stir gently and pour immediately into the greased microwavable dish, cover
  6.  Cook at high power  for about 6-8 minutes, rotating the dish once.
  7. Heat the oil for the tadka, add the rai, kadhi patta and green chillies.
  8. Saute till slightly colored.
  9.  Add 1 cup of water.
  10. Cut the dhokla into desired sized pieces and pour the tadka over.

Method:

  1. Take a microwave-safe bowl and add some oil in it.
  2.  Heat the oil by putting it in the microwave oven for around 3 minutes. 
  3. Meanwhile, roughly chop the green chillies.
  4. Take the bowl out and add the tampering ingredients i.e. cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and green chillies in the bowl and microwave it for 2 minutes.
  5. Take the bowl out again and add peanuts into the tampered mix and microwave it again for about a minute.
  6. Now, put asafoetida and turmeric powder in the oil and peanut mix and microwave it for 10 seconds.

  5. In a skillet, heat oil, and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and cumin seeds. 
  6. Add chopped onions, turmeric powder, salt, sugar, peanuts, green chillies paste/slit and mix it all well along with the vermicelli.

  1. Peel, halve, and seed the mango, and cut it into 1/2-inch cubes.

  1. Heat oil in a microwave-safe bowl for 2 minutes on high, add the mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal, dry red chillies, asafoetida powder to the oil. 
  2. Let it cook in a microwave oven for 5 minutes on high until the dals turn golden brown.
  3. Now add the chopped onions, minced ginger, slit opened green chillies, curry leaves. 
  4.  Cook everything again on high for 10 minutes (stir in between) along with turmeric powder and salt.

  7. Cook again for 10 minutes on high (stir in between).
